Floataway is expert in chlorine, bromine and peroxide based systems and advises against Ozone.  The choice usually depends on local regulators but in a private float tank you usually have a free choice.  If you decide to change for any reason we can always upgrade or just change the disinfection system.  Many people have taken a dislike to chlorine, which is the most possible disinfectant, but with REDOX control the amount of chlorine used is so small that it is not easy to detect it.  The dosing is certainly less than a manual system.  Peroxide is popular because it has no smell but it also does not stay long in the water so must be dosed more frequently.  It is true the peroxide breaks down to the simple chemicals water and oxygen, which is attractive , but it must be stored and used with care in its concentrated form.  In countries like the UK where chlorine is more common, it can be expensive to buy peroxide.  Our timed dosing system works equally well with chlorine or peroxide but if you want to upgrade to REDOX this is only possible with chlorine at the moment.

Video: ten years ago we used to offer video screens as an option but we learned from experience it is not a good idea and we no longer supply screens inside.  In fact the screens were never used because watching video is not compatible with relaxed floating, eyes closed.  Video feedback training is best done in a separate room and in that case floating is an excellent preparation.
