All equipment used by the public must be kept in safe working order. Insurance companies usually insist on annual inspection to ensure the equipment is still safe, with a certificate issued by a competant person. The first inspection should be one year after installation plus or minus one month.
Floataway offers this inspection linked to a service contract. This service includes one visit every year by our trained staff and during this visit, as well as issuing the certificate, the technician will change parts according to a ten year plan, upgrade where necessary, and repair faults. The visit can also be used to buy consumables without delivery charges.
In addition we offer the very valuable reassurance that if any part fails during the service period it will be replaced free of parts and labour cost, under our warranty within service terms. This is available every year for twenty years from installation. There is no limit to the number of call outs but if the call out is in fact unnecessary we do apply a reasonable charge.
The cost of the service contract depends on your location and number of tanks you own. We offer a 10% discount if the service contract is purchased with the equipment.
We should point out that after the first year, the cost of spare parts and technical visits, and delays without a service contract may be significant, wheras within an agreement they are free of charge and prioritised.
